ORO
ORO: An Exploration of Contemporary Ritual and its Transformative Power
The “ORO” project stems from in-depth research into the meaning of ritual in the contemporary context and its connection to care. Through ritual practice, the project explores the relationship between the tangible and intangible worlds, raising fundamental questions about the capacity of ritual to generate collective healing and individual transformation.
Key Points of the Project:
- Ritual as Care: The project investigates the deep connection between “care” and “ritual,” understanding how both develop between past, present, and future, influencing our perception of reality and our well-being.
- Questions about Contemporary Ritual: “ORO” questions the meaning of ritual in the modern world, exploring which ritual acts characterize our communities and whether the intimate dimension of ritual symbols can find resonance in encounters with others.
- The Vibrational Power of Ritual: The project recognizes the vibrational power of ritual, which acts on space and time through frequencies capable of harmonizing or disharmonizing. It explores how “curses” or states of unease can be transformed into “blessings” through the harmonization of frequencies.
- Gold as a Symbol of Perfection: Gold, used during the ritual, is considered a conducting element and a symbol of perfection. Its incorruptibility makes it a substance capable of raising the resonance frequency of cells, representing the human capacity for abstraction of thought from reality.

IMPLEMENTATION
An Intergenerational Healing Ritual
The project is divided into three phases, involving three different figures: the child, the adult, and the ancestor, in a healing ritual that connects generations and space-time dimensions.
Phase 1: The Child – Informing the Space
Children, through a simple bodily practice, marking themselves with gold, and creating visual “boxes,” actively contribute to the energetic preparation of the ritual space. Their conscious participation is essential to create a welcoming environment for adults.
Phase 2: The Adult – Traversing Time
Adults, welcomed with an opening formula that introduces the healing ritual, are invited to identify an area of discomfort, whether physical or emotional. Guided in a specific physical and temporal space, after marking themselves with gold, they participate in a somatic vibratory action and vocal emission, both individual and collective. The performer harmonizes these energies, generating a final choral act of blessing.
Phase 3: The Ancestor – Closing Space/Time
The ancestor, a figure of wisdom and guardian of memory, has the task of concluding the ritual. Welcomed with care and attention, they are invited to mark with gold the parts of the body where they perceive a state of unease. Gently led into the somatic and vocal vibratory practice, they contribute to the harmonization of the blessing. As a final act, they leave a trace of gold through the tampography of the hand lines in the two-dimensional boxes, sealing the ritual space and time.
